IT skills SAI@UNIPI

Computer Skills” (3 CFU) are acquired by passing one of the following recommended SAI@UNIPI project modules:

  • Data Management and Analysis (3 CFU)
  • Digital Communication (3 CFU)
  • Digital Publishing (3 CFU)

On the SAI@UNIPI portal, you can find teaching materials, the test calendar, and registration procedures, along with a general overview of SAI teaching modules, educational requirements, and the contact persons and/or structures for students.

PLEASE NOTE

Students who already hold an ECDL certificate can request the recognition of “Computer Skills” credits from the degree program by contacting Prof. Giovanni Rallo.

Recording of SAI@UNIPI Computer Skills CFUs

The recording of credits happens “automatically”; therefore, no entry in the physical student record book is required, only the registration of the “pass” (idoneità) on the Alice portal.

Within 14 days of passing the test, the result should be visible on your online record; otherwise, students are encouraged to contact the Computer Skills Desk.

UE Languages

The Proficiency Test is a test that verifies basic English language skills, with a particular focus on reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. Passing the test grants the 2 required CFUs, but it does not result in the issuance of an official language certificate, as it is a partial assessment that does not evaluate productive skills (speaking and writing). For detailed information on procedures, dates, and registration, please consult the dedicated page on the University of Pisa website: https://www.cli.unipi.it/idoneita-inglese Students who already hold a European Union language certification can request the recognition of “EU Foreign Languages” credits from the degree program by contacting Prof. Silvia Tavarini.

The laboratories are optional activities that students can freely choose from those activated annually. Attendance is highly recommended, as the topics covered constitute mandatory themes in oral exam discussions and intermediate tests. A maximum of 4 ECTS credits (CFU) must be acquired through the student’s free choice. Common pool available (both curricula)
